As Director, Interactive at TVO, I led the creation of engaging and effective learning experiences. I oversaw interactive elements, provided creative direction, and ensured an engaging user experience for online courseware from Kindergarten to Grade 12. I set the creative and interactive direction for the current generation of TVO courses, which are still in use at TVO.

Highlights
Online Learning: High School Courses
During my tenure at TVO, I restructured a traditional course publishing team into a digital production team. I worked with the team to set a clear creative vision, updated the approach to learning design and interactivity, and led the production of 144+ high school courses for TVO’s Independent Learning Centre (ILC) and the Ministry of Education in Ontario. I worked closely and collaboratively with educators, product managers, TVO’s executive team, and the Ministry of Education to produce high quality online courseware.

Online Learning: Elementary School Courses
In 2020, TVO was given the opportunity to create online learning for Ontario’s Elementary school students. I was tasked with creating a kid-friendly and age-appropriate approach to course design for Elementary learners. I worked closely with TVO’s cross-functional Digital Learning team to integrate more engaging interactive approaches for course design and set forth a look and feel that was appealing for younger audiences.
